Minimally invasive aspiration

The ASPIRE™ Bone Marrow Harvesting System is highly innovative. It contains minimally invasive instrumentation that collects purified bone marrow aspirate at the point of care. The aspirate derived from this system is especially high in progenitor stem cells due to it’s unique structure and aspirating technique. The system is designed to gently penetrate the trabecular bone, maintaining a quiescent tissue environment during deployment and collection. This leads to a significant reduction in tissue activation, free hemoglobin content and clotting. The system provides a better bone marrow aspirate sample for processing, ultimately leading to bone marrow concentrate with supraphysiologic progenitor stem cell content.

Ergonomically Designed Handle

The handle is designed to be both ergonomic and lightweight, ensuring a comfortable grip while allowing for even distribution of pressure during deployment through the cortical bone and trabecular space.

Precision Razor-Sharp Coring

The triple crown bevel proximal tip, featuring a diamond-edge razor-sharp design, ensures minimally invasive coring and efficient penetration through the cortical bone, reducing pain during the procedure.

Quiescent Stem Cell Collection

The aspirating cannula is equipped with a specially designed fenestrated blunt tip and triple core side ports, enabling the collection of progenitor stem cells from the endosteal and sub-endosteal niches while maintaining a quiescent environment.

Colony-Forming Units (CFUs) in Ten

The ASPIRE™ Harvesting System is specifically engineered to collect aspirate from the horizontal regions within the endosteal and sub-endosteal niches of parenchymal bone marrow. These areas are known to house the richest concentrations of progenitor and mesenchymal stem cells (MSC). A 10-milliliter aspirate sample serves as a robust indicator of colony-forming unit (CFU) cellularity. This is achieved through the system’s minimally invasive, quiescent technology, which targets CFU-rich areas within the trabecular spaces. The 180-degree sequestering topography maximizes the lateral aspirating plane, providing the practitioner with improved access to untouched sites with a single 90-degree turn. ASPIRE™ stands at the forefront of BMA harvesting systems, excelling in non-processing CFU acquisition.

Concentrate: Bringing It All Together

The ASPIRE™ Harvesting System, in combination with the PureBMC® SupraPhysiologic Concentrating System, offers an unparalleled biologic solution, free from oxidative free hemoglobin. PureBMC® significantly enhances cellularity across all regenerative components compared to standalone aspirate. This includes over 80% retention of platelets, total nucleated stem cells, and hematopoietic stem cells in a small treatment volume. Furthermore, colony-forming units are concentrated to more than five times their baseline levels with PureBMC® processing, while peripheral blood infiltrates are reduced by up to 90%. Together, ASPIRE™ and PureBMC® SupraPhysiologic form a critical combination for advanced regenerative therapy.
